The purpose of Minidoka Memorial Hospital is to provide and promote high-quality, compassionate, primary health care services and health education to residents of, and visitors to, the Mini-Cassia region. We are growing and looking for a Respiratory Therapy Director to join our team. We provide excellent benefits and small town environment.
Full-Time Ultrasound/X-Ray Tech needed
STANDARD OF PERFORMANCE:
- Must be able to perform standard X-Ray procedures including positioning, radiation protection, and basic
knowledge of X-Ray production; KVP, MA and time.
- Must be able to perform specialized procedures including room set up, Radiologist assist, obtain films, clean
room upon completion of procedure, knowledge of proper disposal of soiled linen, sharps, and other instruments,
proper aseptic technique.
- Must have basic knowledge of Radiation Protection and be able to implement this knowledge.
- Must have the ability to perform all secretarial and receptionist duties including scheduling, completion
of paper work, filing functions and retrieval of x-ray jackets.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Must have a positive attitude when dealing with patients and hospital staff.
- Must develop a courteous and professional rapport with the Medical Staff.
- Must be able to work with all levels/ages of patients.
SELF SUPERVISION:
- Must be able to pass diagnostic films without assistance.
- Must rotate "On Call" and perform without supervision.
- Must have the ability to respond, while on call, within 20 minutes day or night.
- Must have a basic knowledge of film processing and proper processor maintenance.
- Must be able to perform procedures in the Emergency Room without supervision.
- Must be able to perform Portable and C. Arm procedures.
QUALITY ASSURANCE:
- Must have a basic knowledge of Q.A. standards and procedures.

EDUCATION
- Completion of a recognized course in Radiologic Technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiographic Science or related field.
- Certificate in Ultrasound
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) Registered or Registry Eligible.
- Must possess a current CPR card.
- Must be current with required ECE.
